'No Particular Place to Go'- Part 1

Sometimes...

...I like to go into the studio...

...with no particular goal in mind.

                                                             In this piece...

...roving, fabric and bits of failed crochet...

...become part of a textural pre-felt piece...

                                                     ...with hidden inclusions.

                                                    This experimental project...

...made from lengths (and clumps) of silk selvedge...

...plus wool from a soft, bright batt...

...is likewise felted just to the pre-felt stage...

...so it can be used later...

...in some 'as yet unthought-of' project! :)

Next time: two more small felting experiments.

So bright and cheerful color as well nice textures. It must be good to make another project with it.

Terriea- I haven't figured out exactly 'what' yet...but it will be fun to have on-hand.
